So, my dog ran aaway friday night. I looked for him for a few hours. He came back at like 630 am. Covered in sh1t. Super. He's had a bath, shampooed 3 times, still smells.
I hate him.

Second Stage: Drowing Pool, Duf MCkagan's LO*DED, Dope , The parlor mob, The veer union, burn halo, crooked x, federation of horsepower.

I feel all gooey inside now.
Tickets go on sale for rockalholics april 1 at 10am until midnight april 3rd.

I liked Korn and Dope once upon a time.

I just don't like the rest of those bands. You know how some people say that all death metal sounds the same? 98.9% of the stuff that they play on 98.9 all SOUNDS the same to me. I can't help it. It's just the way it is. Although I will say, if I really really really hate a band that plays on the radio, I'll remember their name.

Just like 99% of the poo they play on commercial radio. That's why I like community radio better, less crap- 90.1 KKFI, and the UMKC NPR station (83.1?)and KDHX when I go back to St. Louie to visit family. My favorites shows on those are the Fishfry on fridays and Saturdays 8-12AM and Rockabilly mood swing on fridays 5-7. Nothing but great songs there.

I feel ya Ink, 989 sucks, Dook I too like kkfi, they play some good blues from 2-5.  Hey PV aint that bad, when I poured concrete for a living(yeah went from that to doing computer programing & cnc work, [he must know somebody  ]) we did alot of specalized stuff that no one else would do, and with that followed working for ward parkway snobs and what they wanted to do to those huge houses...That said it all, by the way did you know that one of the cannons on the south side of Loose park is still functionial(they didn't weld the wick hole shut). I lived at Twin Oaks across from UMKC at one time so we frequented that place when we ran amuck around town...
I liked 989 at night when they play the pit. The rest is commericialized poo poo though like you said Ink. I remember installing signs out in CO and they got some metal stations..
I need some BBQ.....

I know here in Buffalo all I get are these Franchise Ribs(Chillis, Montana's, Smokey Bones).....blah. I'll stick with the wings.
Have to admit though, there are a few mom and pop smoke houses that make some descent bbq..

It's ok I ain't mad at ya.
Ok here we go if ya visit KC heres the run down.
Okie Joe's is the place(your right about the fries Ink, seasoned nom nom nom) and this place is in a gas station, they open at 11:00 on the days we go here at work(we make an outing of it ) we go at 10:45 so we walk in the door at 11:00 if not there is literally a line of 30+ polple out the door in line...
Next I would have to say Gates BBQ, then Jackstack if its catered, in house doesn't taste the same for some reason.
Next is Quicks down by the Boulvard drivein here is KS.
Kc masterpiece I can't say because I haven't eaten there but I do use their sauce from time to time and I am not too fond of them.
Arthur Bryants you almost have to have a taste for them to like them. They made it to travel channels BBQ show they did too.
There is a place over on the east side of town just south of Brush creek, its in the hood and good depending on who's in there BBQin that day.

Can you say goon likes BBQ.
These are my personal preferences so take it as you will.

Oklahoma Joe's- best pulled pork and fries in town, yum, yum.
Gates has a good burnt end samich.
Haven't tried Bryant's burnt end yet- need to, everybody says they are the best burnt end.

I've been called Un-american for not liking BBQ.

Eat BBQ chicken on the grill everyday for an entire summer and tell me you love BBQ.

It's more the sauce that I dislike than the actual act of BBQing. I love cooking on the grill.

I also will not eat chicken off the bone anymore.

So, sorry to offend guys.

Your not un american ink you just described southern BBQ though  they think we are silly for using sauce.
I do know what you mean about the chicken thing( I call it yard bird) that's usually how we do it at my house, all summer.
I do plan on getting a chicken coupe and growing chickens in the next year, we had a calf when I was growing up that we would buy raise and butcher, did the same for chickens. I also have worked at a Turkey farm with 180,000 birds we took care of down outside of carthage in south MO, we had records for the largest birds produced and we did it with believe it or not vitamins and minerals. I grew up on them(vitamins) and we know what happens without them, we also had the Ecoli breakouts a few years before the media found out with all the other farms. We took care of it simple by adding a touch of vinegar to their watering systems, raised the acidity of their stomachs too much for the e to live.
Ironic thing about stuff like e-coli the birds were getting it from the litter beetles(that had e-coli) that ate the birds doo doo, then the birds being natural peckers they eat the bugs and get e-coli..... Media is something fabolus let me tell ya...
