My parents were going to fly out last week, which happened to be Finals week, and also I happened to get some kind of nasty stomach bug so I'm glad they weren't here last week...
but they're coming this week.  This Sunday.
...which is also PRIDE week here in Portland.

Mom lives in New douglas, IL. It's my understanding that It's about 1/2 way to chicago. or maybe  almost 1/2.

We used to hit 'City Slickers' & 'Hogs & Kisses' in Lake Geneva, and a little dive called 'Tin Cup Pass' but I can't recall it's location, and numerous bars in Milwaukee. I turned 21 the night the Bears won the Superbowl and that effectively put an end to my Wisconsin drinking days.... ;D ;D
