well! I've sold almost my whole front end. only 3 small pieces left.

I'm so close to doing a thread on swapping a gsxr1000 front end to a cb750 it's scary.
Hi IC, i have the GSXR 1100  front end on mine and all i had done was the honda steering stem pressed into the Suzuki clamps and it all bolted straight up....The Honda stem was the same diameter as the Suzi one.

Mick
I know dude I think you show'd me pics of that.

look what I've done so far- and I didn't even bite into the pin surface!!

you actually can grind the weld off the lower.  and then press out the neck. that way the lower is still useable. seems your way works too.

good head is hard to find. ;D
Not if you know where to go! And would Kit really know about this?

I don't think "head" is gender specific.  But let me guess.  You're one of those that don't give, but love to receive.

I would say 'no, not gender specific' there... As long as a head is still involved somewhere, it's still aptly named.

I'm getting so tired of seeing the photos of that mess stuck in a vice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tree nuts in a vice would be preferred about now.

I ground off the weld till I saw the split between the tube and casting, then cut 2 lines down the casting and knocked them out with a punch.

I don't have a 20 ton press at home.

two of the wheels could just be not attached to the actual drive train...

for some reason I think there was a show that talked about making that car, maybe it was in the special features on the disk? Not sure but I know they did have at least one fullsize drivable version.

it was 4 wheel steering and rear wheel drive you buncha doofs.

the 2 fronts turned more than the two center wheels, so it wouldn't be skidding around.

looks stupid with those truck tires under it.
