     I just fixed the AC in my Dodge Dakota for $15.00! This is great because a friend had the same problem with his truck 4 years ago, and the dealership tried to stick him for $800.00, said the whole dash had to come out, but he got on the phone, and raised hell with Chrysler, and got it done for $50.00
     Mine started doing the same #$%* last year, and finally quit just like his, so I got on google, and found a Dodge Dakota forum. It's just a resistor block, took 20 min. to replace.

So....I learned an important life lesson tonight!

If your speedo is pretty much shot you really shouldn't rely on your odometer to tell you when it is time to fuel up. AND  if your speedo is shot you REALLY shouldn't rely on your odometer to tell you when to fuel up while riding around in the "reserve" postion and thinking you're in the "on" position!!!

Thank god I was riding with a buddy who had saddle bags and it was only a 5 minute ride back to the gas station to buy gas and an over priced Jerry Can!!! It would have REALLY sucked to push it the 5 kms back to the gas station!!!

On the bright side we had a fun little 150 kms or so ride tonight and made it home safely and only a little wet from the showers!!!

I'm a low-maintenance kind of girl... that means on my days off, I pretty much just put a bandanna on instead of actually going through all the work of "doing" my hair. :P  Carrie has seen it, and she wasn't upset by it, so I'm assuming either it's okay, or her nursing experience has made her able to withstand the worst of "bad hair"
