Try seeing it on a big screen.  Back in the late 70's before the video age, Pink Flamingos was played at late night showings often double billed with Eraserhead.  One film the most disgusting thing you ever saw and the other the most disturbing.  I grossed out the Dive Bar........I feel so proud. ;D  Now go order it from Netflix and watch the whole thing....unless you're too soft. ;D

Yeah around 1972.  Amazing he was allowed to make more films after that one. ;D  I took a girlfriend to see it one time and although she didn't dump me she would hit me on the shoulder and say "I can't believe you took me to see that"! ;D

never been in side, been to a few cruise ins out there

it is in a little town west of Muncie just off of 332 on old Jackson street I think, but you prolly already goggled it  ;D

there is a mill work shop, a grain elevator and a boot shop and that is about it, there was a right up in the local paper a while back they're supposed to have pretty good food
