I'm so coming off a bad weekend and starting the week the same. My 10 year old Sony Vaio desktop bit the dust Friday. Lost everything, pictures, files,...porn. ;D I had been running XP and was very used to it. Now I've got Window's 7 and can't find a friggin' thing!! I miss the Sony, it gave me 10 years of good service, but unfortunately Sony no longer makes 'desktops', only 'all-in-one's' or laptops.  :'( So, I went with this... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883108463

Hope it's as good as my Sony was... :-\

Schmitty, I hope the old machine isn't gone yet.  Unless it died of a total hard disk failure, you can rescue those lost files.  Snag the hard disk out of it and get a USB hard disk enclosure.  As long as it spins up, the chances are real good that you can get your porn stuff back.
