This front fender ?
« on: September 22, 2018, 06:39:51 PM »
For which bike do you think it is. Pretty good condition. Bought it for my cb550f but realized now much later when pulled out to install that it is different.

Clamp bracket for stat bars seems to accommodate round stat bars

you posted this in the wrong section...ask a moderator to move it to Open Forum, or Other Bikes, or SOHC/4 Bikes...
Could be from a CB500 Twin... Look up motorera.com and there is a Honda Motorcycles section... It has photos of the various models.
Look through the various bikes between 750 and down to probably 400 and you might find it...
IF it is actually a Honda fender...otherwise you will have to rely on the brain trust of the those who track or watch things in the Open Forum or Other Bikes area to give you a clue.

I could be wrong, but I don't remember seeing a Honda with a front fender that had a brace mount on the outside like that or even made like that. I'd sure be interested to see what it is for, myself (just out of curiosity).  :)

Well, it looks like this old dog has yet again, been shown shown that something had slipped by him. After I studied Frank's um phot (lol), I saw that I apparently hadn't ever noticed that front fender on an "F". So, my hat is off to you, Frank. Seems you and 02z06dave have solved the fender question.  ;)

Mystery solved finally. Now at least I know I need to buy a 750f (without fender) to use this fender :)
Cheers

I have a less than stellar 550F fender and later 550 used a single stay like this fender has, I do not recall the 550F fender's mount for the stay, much less recalling the K's at the moment.
If it fits and the fender stay from a 550 can fit or be modified to fit, then why not use it. The 550K and 750 shared the same fenders once you got past the early sand cast and diecast fenders.
Does it have a speedo cable grommet hole?
Looks like a very nice condition fender, chrome appears to be in very good condition.

It's for the F models with the black forks.
