1987 yamaha fzr1000 decal help!

So I have have acquired myself a 1987 yamaha fzr1000 that i intend to repaint to stock colours. My only dilemma is that i can’t figure out what colour the decals are supposed to be! The decals i have appear to be orange, red, and pink, and honestly I can’t figure out which of those are supposed to be there and which are just faded that way, and i can’t quite tell by the photos online. Does anyone know what colour these are supposed to be? Or know of an outfit that sells them? As it is i will need to get them made by a graphic sticker place ive worked with before.

They’re red. Part of the reason they look so “orange” is the red is directly touching black with no color separating them. Red over black changes it’s hue a great deal, making it less saturated, or more pink/orange.

Your bike probably also has some sun fade to it further confusing the issue.

I figured that sun fading was a large role, what really threw me off is that the “blocks” the ‘FZR’ appear to be more red then the rest of the stickers. But i do know that it has a red base coat under the black so red decals would make sense. Thanks for the help!

Sure, it’ll probably be a little while before I actually get around to tearing it apart but when I do I’ll try to keep you posted
