Just saying hello to all, and hoping to be able to find all the help i need!!

I live in frigid(at the moment) utah, wishing it was warm enough to ride, and my '79 CB650 was re-assembled!!!

Welcome from recently turned frigid Michigan. I'm guessing you probably don't have any pics to post ... yet.  ;)

Welcome, amigo, and best of luck on getting 'er back together before riding season. :)

Barring major illnesses and misplaced parts, it should be roadworthy again within 2-3 months.
Then the fun of getting all the mods i've made to work well begins.....

So far i've powdercoated the frame/rims/bits n pieces, fabricated a custom oil filter housings(one for a oil cooler, one w/o), new tires, dual disk front brakes, hard bags, new bearings all around, new(spare) electrical parts, modified carbs, pod filters, among other things i'm going to try this year.....
Hope it isn't too many mods at once to get it going properly!!!

Are there any Utah/Colorado/Wyoming/Idaho/Nevada riders out there?

Offhand, my guess would be yes; our members seem to crop up in the most unlikely places. ;)  You might try posting to the Regions/USA forum, or you could try an advanced search for "Utah" and select only the Regions/USA forum (bottom right).

Hope this helps,

What part of Utah.  One of my favorite states - Moab is almost heaven.  I try to get out there every couple of years and spend time in the canyonlands.
