Hi Dave

My frame number begins CB750G and denotes (as far as I have been able to ascertain anyway) that I have a "General Export" model 750F2 - it seems that most of these were destined for the Australian/Asian markets....? Perhaps yours was privately imported at some stage? There was a discussion a while back about the engine numbers... that most (all) people who responded did not have the 'F' in the engine number as in CB750FE - only CB750E. Mine is 'E' only also...

Cheers, Phil

Long time back i asked Dave Silver about the "G" and he said it was a UK model
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
