When I pulled my (front end) back on my SuperHawk just 1/2" behind straight-up, every time I rode in the wet it zeroed in with the splash dead-center of my nose(!) Hated that...

First stab at fabbing some fender stays, happy with the result!  Now to cook up the 2nd set.  Slow but steady!

Haha, had a torch out and everything!  The editing department would bankrupt the show since I'm so effin slow..

What type of jig did you use to bend those bars? I have attempted it a couple of time with no success

All one has to do is to go back to the opening page of this thread to see how much work has gone into this bike.  An amazing transformation that I eagerly look forward to progress on.  This bike is going to be a blast to ride.

Vise, vise grips, and a propane torch.  Used some weld wire to mock up the bend and get the length.

Thanks for the kind words!  It's been a fun learning experience and I really like how it's coming together.  I'm just sad that my rate of progress is taking me right to a "heart of winter" completion date.

So after a hiatus, I’m finally ready for some more progress!  I was a bit held up with my shock clearance dilemma, but after some patience Cognitomoto was able to take very good care of me and my issue.  They hooked me up with some custom perches that achieved the clearance that I need, while also letting me keep all my travel.

They also made the first of their air boxes in a 350f/400f format.  I have a little fine tuning to do on the fitment but it will turn out nice methinks.


Santa brought me some more of motogadget’s finest, so I’ll finally be able to start wiring this sucker up!

Wow that airbox is deluxe !! I HATE removing the stock 4-1 airbox thing. This will save you so much headache

So it's about time I get serious about getting the ignition sorted out.  I admit my knowledge on the subject on the subject is a bit lacking so I'm looking for help and suggestions.  I'm eyeing up this kit from 4into1 http://4into1.com/electronic-ignition-kit-dynatek-honda-cb350f-cb400f/, but I don't know if there are any glaring issues with using the Dynatek ignition and these coils... 
Hondaman, I think you have an ignition available as well.  Why would I use yours instead?

Holy smokes, I totally missed your question lol!  Been a bit out of the loop as I bought a house this spring and the project has been hibernating.  Did you ever get the fender stays sorted out?
