Fuel Line spring clips
« on: April 27, 2019, 10:04:14 AM »
I'm going to replace my fuel line on my 1973 K2 with original Honda 5.5mm stuff.  I'm assuming the two short pieces that connect  carburetor #1 to #2, and #3 to #4 are the same dimension. Those little pieces use no clips that I can see. I am missing the two wire clip that attach to the petcock. What's the best set up re clamps?

Yes, dimensions are the same. If you are using the OEM 5.5 most of us use no clips. No leaks...

Aren't those two short breather/ connector tubes between 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 a smaller diameter Johnie ?  Same size rubber as the bowl overflow hoses. One of the disadvantages of having my bikes and other junk stored offsite in my shop, can't take a refresher peak.

+1 on no clips. With Honda 5.5 line on stock fittings, clips are superfluous

Eric you are correct. Those breathers are smaller. I thought he was talking about the fuel T's between carbs 1&2 / 3&4. I think the breather tubes are the size of the overflows, but don't quote me.
