Did a little looking, the forks are about 2 inches longer from center of the axle to the top of them. A difference in the stops, as they are on the back side while the 750A is on the front side. I looked at the Fork conversion on AllBalls racing and the 750A bearings are the same as the VF700. Think I'm going to have to pull the VF700 apart to keep the parts that work for both the VF1100 and the VF750 Sabre's I'm getting. 5 bikes made into possibly 3 usable bikes is a win to me.

Honda seems to use the same size steering head bearing in all of their bikes, and they have typically a long and short stem in the triple trees. When I installed the CBR600F1 Hurricane forks on my VTR250 Interceptor, there was only the difference in length of stem that I had to contend with. So, I swapped the stem from a VTR250 lower triple clamp into a VF500 triple tree, as the 37mm forks from the CBR600 were the same as the VF500, and it worked perfectly. The VF500 had the longer stem, but identical bearings, and so I was able to mount everything up the same as they mounted the ignition, etc the same. Even the CBR600F1 triple trees were the same bearing sizes, but it also had the longer stem. I could have used it and steepened up the fork rake, as the F1 has steeper angle than either of the Interceptors, but I would have had to mount the J-box, fuses box, and ignition differently, and it would have been too much hassle. As it is, I have the same rake and trail, just WAYY better forks and dual disk brakes.... and it handles better than just about anything out there! So, I would try and see if the stem is all you will have to contend with, or get a set of triple trees that are the same O.D. as the VF700C forks. There are a few out there to choose from! Once you have a triple tree that will suit your bike, then do the stem swap.
