You never know who you’ll run into
« on: November 17, 2018, 02:50:04 PM »
I was out getting my Ruckus safety checked today in a small local industrial area here on Maui. I noticed a Goldwing two doors down and wandered in to say hi to the rider. It turns out his name is Darrell Murphy and he’s a serial Honda restorer, art project maker and all around skilled tinkerer. His shop is full of sohc 750’s in various stages, he’s got many other bikes as well including an FJR750 which I believe is one of 200 built for homologation. He has a dohc 450 engine and frame he wants to sell. Very nice fellow with many, many projects. He was formerly living in Monroe South Carolina. I told him about the forum in case he wanted to get on it. You never know who you will run into.

Forklift?  There is a shop in this area that display bikes in a similar fashion, one I saw had bikes suspended from  the ceiling

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

The upper section on the right is a car lift turned into a movable floor.
