What do you think?  Should I do a project thread on this bike?

Honda Mini Trail 50  1969-70




It is the first motorbike I rode.  Has been sitting for 35-40 years.  I did squirt some oil in the cylinder and the engine does turn over.

You mean to get it ?
 Just box it and ship Greyhound or Fastenal.
 Did you get those rods with the feet, so you can turn off the gas , bolt the rods to the frame, and put it on its side in a car trunk ? The rods keep the sides of the bike from touching.

Dad and Mom are planning on coming for a visit for Thanksgiving (USA) so I will be waiting until November.

MD here is what I have. Take a look at the top and bottom of the seats and see which one is for your mini. Once you ID it I will send you close up pics.

none of those look quite right to me.  Below is a google search of the '69 bike that shows the seat.

 The guy that bought my 69 750 new also bought one of these at the same time for his son. It's been gone for years but I'd like to find a red one to remake the set.
