How much paint do I need?

So I’ve got an 87 fzr1000 I’d like to repaint, just not sure how much I need. Anyone know how much paint is needed per square inch? Or maybe even just a ballpark guess for how much paint is needed to cover an old litre bike?

Just sidecovers and a tank? A pint?

I bought a pint when I had my K3 tank and side covers painted.  It was $120!
