Yeah Terry it beats shaving 1963 Walked across the Lions Gate Bridge in Vancouver and dropped my Phillishave 234 feet to the water it was a high tide at the time, just about got a freighter and the little man in the cupola yelled at me for throwing things off of the bridge, so I flipped him the rigid digit and walked on, now I've shaved a few times in the years that followed but only about 3 times and from experience I've found if you are in a gaggle of clean shaven corporate types and they are not sure what to do with you, just announce loudly "Never Trust any One that Shaves, they have something to hide". That will sort through the BS quickly.
Bill the demon.

It has been said that someone with a beard is hiding something.  I'm hiding an unusually large neck.  22 " to be exact.  Buying dress shirts is a #$%*, because they think a 22" neck goes with a 400 lb body, and while I'm not in my "fighting" weight, I'm still way less than that.

Wow, thats a massive neck mate, how about posting a pic of that massive trunk? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Well as much as Beardies are weirdies, I couldn't bother shaving over my Christmas holidays, so I suppose my laziness has elevated me into this exclusive(?) club. I don't know how long I'll keep it, but having a beard sure beats shaving! ;D

I posted on the first page, #5.  It doesn't show the neck, but it does show the huge melon that sits atop said neck. Besides, that's why I have the beard.  I do have trouble finding a helmet that fits.

I try and not think about it much, but at 22, I was somewhat under weight.  6' 1.5", and only 150 lbs. And the neck was 17", not all that small until you consider the weight (or lack thereof).  I was downright spindly. Then, I got married and quit smoking. Boom. 39 years, and 100 lbs later, I got me a Grandson! And a beard.  Actually, I've had the beard 25+ years.

I took this pic last February, but never got around to posting it. I had started letting my full beard grow about Thanksgiving 2019, and this was the longest it had ever been. I trimmed it back to the goatee shortly after the pic.

Not in poor taste at all, and thank you for bringing it back up.  I had forgotten about this one.

Alan, at first I wasn't sure, but after sleeping on it I think that Frank would have laughed. ;)

My daughter is thirty four. She was six the last time I shaved my beard off. She ran to her room and cried for hours.

I had my daughter watch me shave it off so it didn't startle her. She was about 4 then.
