1977 + 78 CB750K Grab bars
« on: August 12, 2015, 04:47:16 PM »
Was this ever a stock Honda part? If so, anybody have the part number?

How do they mount? Shock-mount and Fender-mount?

If you have one, I'd greatly appreciate photos (especially of how they mount)

thanks

the front section mounts @ the shock mount.
the other mount is thru the holes in the ends of the frame rails/rear fender under the seat.

I found a very nice one on fleabay. They show up frequently. I understand they were frequently removed at the dealer to mount luggage racks, sissy bars etc.

Thanks guys...I wonder if it'd go over my tail light of not?

Same tail-light for both tank/seat setups

It looks like it would hit the taillight in the top photo.

Looks to me like it would clear it. You need to get some measurements.

By your pictures, it looks like it may clear the light.  If you get one and it doesn't line up the way you would like it to, you could always put the bar on upside down to be sure it clears the light.

My Brown seat is on a stock (cut at the front) 78 pan...
