pointless but amusing titbit

In about 1984 I fitted a pair of SU carbs from a triumph spitfire to a cb400f and managed to do about 6 miles before I got bored trying to make them work acceptably well and gave up.

My buddy put a set of carbs from  his XS 11 on a 350 V8. It had really crappy bottom end, but I think gas mileage was better.
