new conrod bolts or exsisting 750k3

I suppose this question has been asked before I have my 750 k3 stripped down and fitting new big ends and and crankshaft
shells can you use the exsiting bolts and nuts or try to buy new bolts i was told the original bolts are no longer made
but try to get some F2 bolts did they have stretch bolts in1973 ? thanks DD

Good idea to upgrade to NEW F2 bolts and nuts. I should tighten according to Honda manual. Stretch is not specified by Honda in those old manuals and need correct tools for those bolts that have that torque spec.
First CB750 manual for early bikes: 14.5 ft lbs.
The F supplement manual states 10.8-15.9 ft lbs (strange low value)
k1-K8 supplement state 13.0-15.9 ft lbs

Important to use a torque wrench that is correct.
