Starting Issues
« on: November 07, 2018, 12:06:05 pm »
My CB750 F has developed the issue of not starting on the starter button. It will start on the first kick, but I want it right. My high beam indicator (Blue) comes on when I push the starter button. My battery is full. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

Grounding issue?  IIWM, its time for a control cleaning.  lots of gunk can build up in there.

+1  she's looking for a ground. I'd check to see if you have any voltage at the starter relay too.

An F should turn the lights off before the starte operates but the white plastic switch surround degrades with age and falls to bits. If it is this i am afraid you need a new complete switch unit as the internals dont come seperate

What would no voltage at starter relay mean, please? (My guess is the switch is shot).

Either that or a bad connection/broken wire. Dont forget later bikes work differently to early ones.
