Cb550 top end check

Building a Franken bike. 77 and 78 parts.

Base had broken fins, so top end is off. Checked for piston play, seems good.

Do I need to do rings, etc. Using a new base with good fins so guessing will need to hone.

What do you mean by base? If you mean cylinder block and you are going to hone it then yes you need new rings
