Honda Cb 750 four k0 Police
« on: November 18, 2018, 08:28:21 AM »
Hello Everybody
I was so lucky to buy a Honda Cb 750 Four Police project. And now I have some questions about the Police-bike
Does these bikes have special framenumbers Or no framenumber ?
Does anyone have some parts they want to sell ?
Does anyone know something about these bikes ?
Anything can help  ;)

PS: Only answer if you know it !

Best Regards
Mogens

Know what? Answers on what? You expect answers this way? I know a 'P' speedometer (calibrated) that's for sale, but how do i know that's the answer you want? Well, what do I care.

Hello James
Your project could result in becoming a good looking bike 😎
I don't know about mine. I think the frame isnt a regular Police frame, it hasnt any sign of the brackets,.
I think the previous owner just wanted to build a Police bike. So now I am not  sure if I want to make a Police bike or if I want to make a normal K0. Cause I have a K0 frame and engine. So now I will see...
I have some pictures you can see
Cheers
Mogens 😎

Hi all,

I unhurried this the other day and will be restoring it. It is missing some police specific parts which I will have to hunt down eventually.

But it’s an all original modified for the Australian police with fairing and paneers.

If you can help me out with parts it would be much appreciated.

Thanks I have spoken to him before. I would pay that if the seat were new but it’s not new and it’s damaged.

I noticed the seven point star front wheel on the above bike. A while back several were found and there are still a few 16x3" rear wheels on ebay for sale.

Yes it’s a Henry Abe wheel, not sure if it’s original Henry Abe but I do have rear as well which is 18”.

I see police speedos on eBay all the time (there are four on there now). People get crazy money for them.

Or not, just because it’s listed it doesn’t mean they sell. I have helped people buy a few and they were under $100.

I ran across these lights...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CB750-Red-Patrol-Lights-Police-Bike-Vintage-1970s-Very-clean-Original/143215627419?hash=item2158510c9b:g:hcwAAOSwUnJcs8Ws

Thanks for sharing, I think this is from the late 70s and not early 70s as the seller suggests.

I have found a few things so far. The box that goes behind the seat and the police crash bars are here already.

Hi,  can you take a picture showing how the paneers are mounted?  Is there any lower support brackets.  Thanks

It does indeed, these police bikes don’t come by very often. Here is a photo of what it would have looked like when in service. It’s from the same police department as the bike I found.

I haven’t seen Terry swamp rat, I thought it was an ugly rusty bike going by the nickname.

police bike frame and engine numbers are the same as honda standard production numbers. finding police bike parts is not easy it may take several years to source the parts.
