Looking to buy some for a 750 K0 and wondered about which suppliers provide the best product as an alternative to the oem ones? Which ones to stay away from?

I got some Emgo for cheap and they look/feel/fit as good as the old stock bars.  Are pre drilled for wire routing too.

Absolutely agree with everything Cal said, Emgo is well known for quick failures.
A good option is to buy any late model factory control, either from a dealer,  shop, or scrap yard.
I'm using Renard Speedshop custom switchgear, which are beautifully made, but pricey. Probably more challenging to wire than most would want to tackle,  as well.

I have seen old Honda controls people has restored. Look like new after cleaning, new paint and maybe some 2k filler before  paint.
Repair old bad ways of routing cabling outside, control got a huge ugly hole.

I've wondered about this, do you just paint the red lettering with a fine brush?

I filled red paint with a tooth pick once and second time with syringe needle as the hole holds paint

I just use a small brush and wipe off the excess with a fine cloth - just don't let the paint dry at all though. The trick is to go across (and not in to) the channels where the paint is so that the cloth only picks up the excess which has spilled over the edges.

Also, +1 on the Yamiya replacements - good quality, reasonable prices and fast delivery.

 I've used David silvers controls, I've also been lucky to find used ones and stockpile them for my bikes. The Chinese Honda replacement with the purple kill button worked OK and at least once I put the new parts from one in the old housing.

I restored my right hand switch pod with the 3d printed starter button housing. I did not restore the outside though, which is a pale grey. My roommate put the replacement pod on his bike which can be found on 4into1 and has a plastic body. I would vastly prefer to restore the metal body and internals from honda than to go with the plastic bodied replacements.
