Screen size vs text size
« on: November 21, 2018, 05:39:52 pm »
Did I break my thread?
I must preface this with the acknowledgment  that I'm a tech weenie...I'm sure I caused this problem, but I haven't a clue how.  Nor do I have aclue how to fix it.

Problem is that I like to peruse the forum from my tablet ( samsung tab4)  and it seems like a piicture has been posted that makes the included background very big, causing the normal text size to be so small as to be annoying to try and read.
Any suggestions ( that I could understand) would very appreciated.  This is by far the best forum!
intrigued by the wail...seduced by the scream.

Can you provide an example?  I don't have a tablet with me this week, but I'll take a look to see if anything can be done to fix this.

Here is a screen shot I took this morning. No photos involved with this thread, but I think this is what you are referring to Kerry. I have seen it too, usually worse than what's shown here. I'm using an iPad.

It happens when an http link is posted that is extremely long. Its a (mal)function of the browser, not the forum's settings.
