Bit of an update - and more pics to follow. While ive not posted work has been going on slowly. The wheels are now rebuilt. Just about to order some tyres and when i took the old ones off i didnt make a note of the tyre size so if someone could confirm the size that'd be great. These were the ones i was going to go for....

The chrome plating was so expensive 6 months later im still paying for it...one more payment to make and i can go and pick it all up. Im not going to bother gettting the rear shocks refurbed due to the chrome plating cost so going to go for some aftermarket performance shocks....something like ohlins or YSS....
The engine (now all blasted and clean) is currently being rebuilt at the moment...hoping it should be ready soon. The carbs have been electrostatically clean and as far as i know ready (just a quick text) to check on that one.
Allowing for xmas id hope to have something rolling round the garage with a motor in it by the end of Jan.
The only fly in the ointment for me was getting knocked off my z1000 last week by a little old lady which has left me a bit sore....although its given me a bit of room in the garage as its away being assessed by the insurance and then repaired so i wont see that back til at least the end of Jan also.
