Hello,

I'm a proud new owner of a 1978 cb750F that was passed down to me from my dad. He had it wrapped up most of my life in the back yard under tarps and old blankets, he sold it once to his friends son but the kid brought it back cause he needed the money is what my dad said. He never showed interest in it and so neither did I. It stayed in the back yard.  2 years ago I started to bug my pops about it and finally got him to say hes willing to sell it to me. He surprised me when he said I can have it as a gift although he hadn't started it in in over 20 years. I picked it up and took it home. I have never ridden a motorcycle let alone owned one. I took it to a local motorcycle mechanic and asked him to look it over and see what it would take to get it started and eventually running. 1700 bucks later and I just picked it up. I have ridden it for about 50 miles now and love it!!! i want to get it more restored but I would like to do it myself. Where do I start? I decided to order a new chain and front and rear sprocket as my first challenge. I asked my mechanic things that should be addressed and the chain and sprockets were on the list  . I would appreciate any and all help that you all can offer and please remember I am new....
