Welcome from Lake Superior,

Not sure if you are in the UK or the States.  Sometimes you can get parts from other forum members.  Other times you have to figure out what is available new or from salvage yards.  Good hunting.

Hi

I am in the UK

thanks for the info, just purchased this CB750F1 UK bike 1978 , purchased in 1978, I have the original bill of sale, all the original Honda manuals and books, all the service details, and less than 15.000 miles from new.

Will be looking to get it back to mint, and need to start with an exhaust.

Thanks

Craig

Congratulations on your purchase. Some things to keep in mind when sourcing parts. A nice original exhaust is going to be very difficult to locate. Watch for one on eBay or ask around here but you will probably end up making that the LAST purchase. The US and UK models have differences. This needs to be considered when looking for parts. Your bike is more similar to  75/76 US F model. It has the earlier F engine. The turn signals are earlier US K models. The front fender has double stays. The main similarity to a 77/78 US F model is the tank emblems.

Hi Craig and welcome to the forum.

The help here is phenomenal for your 750 or any of your other bikes. I’m sure you’ve walked around the site, so don’t hesitate to ask questions.
By the way...what are your other Honda models?

Thanks for your reply Mike,

Yes the site looks great, I have already learned that my Bike is a 1975 model but was registered a few Years later, My other Honda's are modern Bikes 2000 SP1 and a 97 & 98 CBR900RR Fireblades.

I am located in the UK but I am having some difficulty locating a Standard Genuine Honda Exhaust for my CB750F1, It currently has a Motad System fitted but I am wanting to return the Bike to Original.

Any help sourcing One would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome from Texas.

Jerry is our resident F expert and is right about the exhaust.  Keep looking, it may take awhile.
