New Here Question Leak 72 750

thank you for lookin Sal here from NYC got a leak after the bike sat for two weeks no smoke doesn't look to be from chain oiler.

The spot you show with the screw is the neutral switch. There is a rubber seal in there. Welcome to the forum.

 Yes, a link to the manual is posted in the sticky at the top of the page. It might need to be in neutral when you R&R it. This was discussed recently I think it's a square cut o ring.

Yah, take a look at the posts on the board about it. Some guys have an issue with getting the seal in. There is a trick to it.

 On a 750 I did last year/winter it was the actual switch that was leaking through and not the gasket so be aware of that possibility also. If I remember correctly I was able to prove the switch was a leaker after I removed it. Tossed in an old extra I had around and all was good again.
