A lonely woman finally decides she will try a dating service. She puts an ad in the singles newspaper. It reads: "Wanted, a man that won't beat me or run away, and he has to be a great lover"
In time, the phone starts ringing and she begins to meet men.
She goes out on a number of dates. but none of the men seem to hit it off with her.
One evening she sits alone in her living room, lonely and frustrated. Then she hears the doorbell ring.
She opens the door, but she sees no one. Just as she starts to shut the door, she hears "down here!"
She looks down and sees a man with no arms and no legs lying on the porch.
Curious, she asks "Can I help you?"
"Hi, I am here about the ad you put in the singles newspaper!"
"Oh really? Why would I be interested in dating you?"
"Well, the ad says that you want a man that won't beat you. I don't have arms, so I can't do that. You want a man that won't run away. I don't have legs, so I can't do that either.."
She interrupts him and asks "But what about the part where I said I want a great lover?"
He smirks and says "Well, I rang the doorbell didn't I?"
