Honda CB350Four Tuning camshaft questions
« on: December 14, 2018, 11:37:52 am »
Hey guys!
I have installed a WebCam Stage1 tuning camshaft into my 350Four racer. What do you think, WebCam does not require high performance valve springs for this camshaft but on the Dyno we saw that the engine has good power also at 10500rpm......so i think it could be a problem with the stock springs.

Original camshaft:

WebCam Stage1 camshaft:

Should i install high performance springs? Were can i get it? How much stronger than stock?

Thanks for answering!

Regards Andy

Dynoman sells kibble white springs.  I believe they have share the same as the 400f.  I would run them.

You need good springs with the correct pressure. You need good springs.

OK thanks for answering.

What about the rocker arms, problems with high performance springs? I have installed brand new rockers.

And how many rpm is possible with the original crankshaft?

New OEM rockers? I ask because because the flash chrome on the OEM parts really doesn't like extra pressure. Hardweld rocker arms will take anything thrown at them. Be sure to run a ZDDP additive.
 Crank isn't a weak link though I wouldn't spin it to 13,000.  ;) ;D
