Wheel off center?
« on: December 15, 2018, 10:40:23 AM »
Is it normal for the rear wheel of a cb650 to be off center by a little bit?  The chain runs true on the sprockets, but the wheel is off-center on the swingarm (about 3/16") and offcenter in the top frame rails of the seat area ( about 1/2").  Is this common?

Can you run string from the rear to the front and see if they are aligned? I don’t believe they are intentionally off center. What year 650? Is this spoked or mag wheels?

'82 cb650sc,  comstar wheels, which I've had off recently and didn't reinstall properly before trying to measure at the limits of swingarm travel.  My bad...sorry to waste your time!  But thanks for trying to staighten me out. ;D
