Replacement drive chain

I’m going to put a new chain on my 750K2. Any preferences on manufacturers?

I mounted a D.I.D 530 VX x-ring chain with hollow rivet master link on my K2 last weekend.

Running the 520 version of the one Pewe suggested on my race bike. I, however, think riveted links are stupid and make maintenance harder than it needs to be. Use the proper clip master and if it makes you nervous, a couple loops of safety wire over the outside plate and clip and it wont be going anywhere.
All you gotta do is do what you gotta do.

Get some type of decent o-ring chain in the 520-530 variety.

Rivet master link is PITA first time. But it does not need to be opened until replacing it.
Important to find hollow master link, solid need a more expensive tool. I bought one for both kind of links 2013 and has not used it again until last week when my other bike got a new chain.

I remove front sprocket with chain on and slide it backwards which is enough slack to lift it from rear sprocket for removal of rear wheel. I have done it with 4-1 as well as stock 4-4 exhaust.

No problem to pull engine and back again.
I often think about the old o-ring chain with clip master link. Much easier.

The chain I have on my K6, strongest 530 DC chain has stretched just a little after 15.000km. Equivalent with D.I.D 530ZVM-X which is overkill for a stock CB750. Maybe for a heavily modified too :)

The old o-ring chain D.I.D 50HDS from the 80's stretched a lot after 5000km. I had to adjust during longer tourings. I snapped one on Autobahn during heavy acceleration gearing down gears because of too much slack.

I'm sure all chains are much better today.
