On the Candy Gold K2 750 with the black stripes, was the "nature" sticker ahead of the gas cap white or black?

Wish I had kept mine. I've come to think Candy Gold was the sharpest color of any year.

Thank you.I agree the candy gold is beautiful. The other side of my little brain says candy ruby red. Because of information on this forum, I did not put the sticker on my K1 as I was informed that the stickers only began in 1972

I'm a candy blue/green guy but all three original colors are great. The blue /green is a bit special because it was a one year color on the 750, the 75 GL1000 and I think one year of the 450.

Lets get real picky. Does anyone know at what frame number did the nature stickers begin on the K2?

My 71 was built 8/71 and had the sticker until I pulled it off. Frame number 1110070.

Is that sticker attached by Honda?
Good to know how it should sit. My K2 build will soon get a white sticker on brown

Did Honda clear coat the sticker or was it applied after the tank was completely painted?
