cb850 charging upgrade
« on: January 12, 2019, 12:42:08 am »
know this subject has been covered extensively in the past and i have read all i can find on the subject. But is there anyone apart from anders that has devoloped or come up with a decent alternative charging upgrade. Im in the very long and slow process of building up a cafe racer which i want to run efi on. I have tried to contact anders in regard to purchasing a charging kit but with no success, i dont know if he is still on this forum or not. Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

The Auto had a 280W output vs the F/K at 225W. The stator and the field coil were wound with heavier gauge wire.

Thanks for that. But I dont think that will give me the voltage I will need at idle to run a  computer and fuel pump efficiently without discharging the battery. Granted the bike wont be idling much.
