I noticed the Amateur Lightweight 126-250cc class winner, some kid from Shreveport La, his future only got better from here...  8) 8) 8)

There were some exhausts to choose between back then! All parts available to change the bike to something else than stock must have been a huge factor when buying a CB750. I got a CB750 relatively late, spring 1979. I remember all fun parts and rebuilds.

PEWE,

I was a bit late to the game myself.  Being a 1974 model myself, I had to wait until 1994 to get my first bike when I was 20.  1972 cb500.  Since then I have only bough cb750s and they must be older than I am.  I prefer 69-71 but make an exception for all the vintage aftermarket performance parts from the 70s era.  Obviously, l enjoy collecting old bike magazines too🙄

I’ve got piles of obscure CB750 related (and more) articles on hand.
