It appears they believe the Hooker changed the mph/rpm ratio? I'm not sure what I read there, they must be dealing with some clutch slip?

No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.
If you love it, set it free, if it stays it's probably one of my 750's.

They left out the Action 4 which had an optional choice of a quiet 'muffler' with a baloney-cut tip, or an open megaphone. When combined with a K&N air-filter on my K3, 120 jets were best and 'speedo' speed went from 95 to 103 at 700-ft above sea-level.

With reference to how good Honda's pipes were, I can only wonder what Honda knew when they designed their SS 4/1 exhaust.

Good read George

The 4-2-1 design of the F2 pipe seems to be popular today, a lot of guys like the cycleX 4-2-1. Although the collectors aren't stamped like Honda's pipes. I'm surprised by the difference in the collector size between the F/F1 and F2 collector. F/F1 is 2 1/2" and the F2 is closer to 1 3/4" I think.

Thanks George!
Downloaded and saved on my disk.
I miss Yoshimura and Kerker to be compared in same test. Alfa might be a later 4-1. It got good review in Swedish Bike magazine 1983 so my bike got it to replace my scratched RC. Best power together with Yoshimura tested on a stock Suzuki GS1000 if I remember correctly.

A more open pipe means more power at top, a little bit restrictive better torque on low, right? It would be interesting to see tests on different engine modification levels.
