Sorry, i wasn't checking this thread and missed the nomination. Thanks anyways.

Ive been riding this bike quite a bit lately and its been going well. I did end up relacing the wheels with stainless spokes from buchanans. I had a set on the shelf for the front that came with a bike I bought, so I just had to buy the rear. New spokes are a big visual improvement. Ive decided now that I think Ill keep this one for a little longer, maybe another year, I might make a few more modifications to it. I have a set of NOS 400f bars i want to install. I dont want the cables etc to be wrong so I was thinking I could maybe just use 400f cables and upper brake line as well. Has anyone done that and know if it will work?

The other things Im planning are a front fender with 2 stays instead of the stock single, ikon shocks and fork springs, and I would really like a yoshimura replica exhaust. I am gearing up to finally work on the 400f I bought from member Momo last year. I bought 5 other complete 400fs That Ive been collecting parts from, both used and NOS, so I have a lot of 400f extras. I'm hoping a 400f front fender will work because I have an extra thats pretty nice. That will leave me with just needing to source the suspension and exhaust, both of which will hopefully come from future bike purchases unless I find a good deal sooner.
