reinstalling engine
« on: February 07, 2019, 04:53:56 AM »
it's back in the frame with all of the bolts in finger tight.  should i support it with a jack to where it's not putting pressure on the bolts and tighten them down or let it hang and tighten?  does it matter?

I always let it hang and tighten.

Did you install swingarm already?  The rear bottom bolt has some say about the swingarm bolt, you want swingarm in before you crank it all down.

E7,
Sounds like you worry about some of the same things I find myself worrying about.

also be sure the brake pedal spline/actuator/bell crank thingies and return spring is installed before swingarm
If it works good, it looks good...

Maybe you should load the engine CW in the direction of output torque! LOL

Its possible to fix it with the swingarm still on but the shocks have to be removed and it folded all the way up as far as possible to barely clear. Don't ask me how I know   ;D
