new bike

After selling the big old FJ1200 last year i swore i'd never get another big old heavy tractor.
Swapped one of my RD350LC's for this bandit and cash my way.
Just press a button and off you go.  No more kick kick kick kick kick f#ck it.
I love the way gloss black turns some dust into a blanket of dirt.

I've got a first generation 1999 1200 Bandie. Had very low miles on it,around 8,000 when I bought it. Love that big torquey engine and they are plenty fast enough for normal riding. Would like to check out the newer 1250 with an extra gear and better seat/riding position. Weight on mine is not much more then a CB750 and seems to roll around easier.  Enjoy that big boy !

Will do ekpent.  So far I've found the seat may get a bit hard but after an hour or so but  the backsides still ok.
My fingers get a bit tingly after awhile but have some foam covers coming so that should sort that.
A gear indicator would be handy. Still not used to the extra gear. It seems like theres always one more available . Up and down. But its a hoot to ride and rarely take the revs over 7000. No point.

That's a nice bike Ken! I've been going to buy a Bandit ever since they first came out, but I've never gotten around to it. Too many bikes, too little time! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
