gauge mount for handlebars Q?
« on: February 21, 2019, 12:41:56 PM »
I got a wide band o2 sensor with a mounting cup with my racing contingency $$ this year. The mount cup bracket  is designed for a bar mount that goes front to back. Obviously it doesn't work on a handlebar. I can make one but have plenty to do and would prefer to order something, any ideas?
My next best guess would be a flat mount off the handlebar clamp mounting bolts. The drag bars don't leave many open spaces, I prefer something I can move bike to bike.
Edit, I'm thinking In the parts totes I have a single mirror mount, that might hold the gauge cup. Still open to ideas.

Thanks for posting the vid.  What about using an insulated cable clamp.  The rubber would offer vibration isolation, and help prevent rotation on the bar.

Thanks, Tintop. I'm embarrassed I didn't think of that right away. My race car hardware box has some 3/4" Adel clamps in it right there in the shop. I bought them to rehang the oil cooler that came on the drag bike. (PO rode it on the street) Bar to Bar. It was a different world.
