If you think the carbs will clog up during the winter. Try fuel additive.
https://www.redlineoil.com/si-1-complete-fuel-system-cleanerOne bottle enough for 3 tanks. 1/3 in tank, fill it up with gasoline. Take bike for a short ride to ensure carbs have the mixture. Hibernate and suffer all winter until spring arrives with sunshine and singing small birds wake you up
My bike has not clogged up carbs yet wintertime. It has good fuel, Shell V-Power with max 5% ethanol. It seems to have other oily additives.
Drain bowls, really OK? The carbs will dry and might leave clogging additives, residues... I'm sure the pilot circuit and float valve will suffer first.
My carbs clogged up really good on old good fuel from 1990. Bowls not drained. It had a bad red slime residue when I looked inside bowls 20 years later. Tank is on the shelf with same fuel in. I'll might clean it one day.
