Opinion needed on price 75 cb750k
« on: March 05, 2019, 02:28:10 PM »
Hi all
Getting an opportunity to have this 1975 Blue cb750k.

14 or 16,000 miles, left side both mufflers missing. Bike hasn’t run in 12+ years. Paint is good, seat original, chrome clean, turns over

What is fair buying price and what to check

Thanks

It’s missing the exhaust collars. Those pipes have been off recently.

My friend bought a red 75 with all four pipes that in 8/10 shape for $2,500 Canadian a couple years back. I though that was nuts. Then I sold my K4 with a new top end and hindle pipe for $3500 cdn last summer. Personally I’d pay a max of $1,500

Had an other conversation with seller and
He has all four mufflers and flanges. He isn’t giving me a price for this bike but talking about four bikes

I’d give you $2000 for the K5, anytime. John D.

Here in seattle that's a $2k bike. Running and cleaned up $4k+. I'll take the '75 550F, as long as it's orange ;)

In the Boston area, sellers would probably be asking closer to $3000. No idea why, but I don't see CB750s listed much around me. Could be the climate ate them long ago.

Same here. Not a lot of 750's for sale here. Especially not nice ones. Here it's all trail 90's as far as the eye can see

$1500-2000 American is a fair deal.  Good luck!

3 to 4K for the set of four, totally depending on condition of the dream and 550.

No matter what he said,  give him a dual price..
Like 3000 for the fours or what you deem right . 4 K for all .. value  the other bikes lower than you would pay or would get .. so if you get them you still do OK.
