Identification help
« on: March 17, 2019, 02:18:28 PM »
Can some one please help me identify my engine.

I purchased a 1978 CB550 engine (I think) for $250. It is going in a buggy. SO I noticed that my engine doesn't look like all the other CB550s I see. Also I come up blank when I put the engine code in google. If I only put the first digits it brings up CB750s, but if I put the whole thing it comes up blank

The number is RC04E-2104816

So are you saying that is what yours is, or mine? What does the last numbers mean? Because yours is slightly different them mine
