Topic: Would the 79' valve adjustment covers fit the 80-82's

Anyone know? They look very close and I k ow the heads are the same except not exactly. But I'd really prefer the 79' parts, the side covers specifically as they have the fat rubber gaskets under the bolts whereas mine(82') just have the bolts with copper washers which have been failing me. Thanks

 Yes. I think I swapped mine out for the ribbed covers.

Make sure you get the bolts too. As you mentioned, the outside covers use different bolts on the '79 model. I have a set that eventually I will get around to putting on my '80.
