Made my best pass of the day in round two. Broke out by .011...

Dammit!

Overall it was good to be back racing again. I’ll make some changes, test-n-tune next weekend then try again!

Went racing today myself. Entered the 5.60 index class. Got lucky and pulled off the number one qualifying spot- 5.600 on the,5.60 index. Followed up the #1 qualifying spot with a first round win. Paired up with a good friend in round #2. I left him at the tree, looked for him as I was nearing the stripe and he wasn't even close so I chopped throttle, and lightly touched the breaks to keep from breaking out. Just my luck I crossed the line first but my win light didn't come on. Crap, I knew I broke out. Got the time slip and sure enough I was way too quick, 5.51 on the 5.60 index. Oh well. It was a good day of racing nevertheless and I got valuable seat time.
