Any comments on dealing with Yamiya? I've been beating myself up looking for a nice set of candy gold side covers for my 750 K1 and I've just checked their prices. For a complete both sides set it looks like the cost to me will be $254. Not bad considering the cost of some of the NOS sets on ebay.

The side covers I got for my K6 750 were good quality.  I found the service to be good and they answer questions.

Question is: will the new side covers match your old tank?  I'd consider buying a complete bodywork set so all is new and matching! Isnt your K1 worth it?

I recently purchased a small order from them and their communication was excellent.  I had trouble with US Customs in Chicago; they ended up sending the package back to Yamiya with no notices to me or Yamiya!  Totally not Yamiya's fault.  Even so, Yamiya was excellent throughout the process and resent my order to me at no additional cost.  Their customer service is excellent.  The products were top notch too.

I bought a set of K6 side covers and was very happy with the color match and quality of the panel. About $250 shipped. Not bad compared to buying panels and the hassle of having them painted to match.

Yamiya is the best you can get, basically. Their stuff is like Honda quality. I bought 400F sidecovers from them. Their side cover plastic is a little lighter (less dense) than the OEM stuff. They are also not painted on the inside. So if you get candy gold covers they are white unpainted plastic on the inside. Color will be a great match though.

I should clarify actually, I have had a ton of CL175's and those side covers are paper thin. The side covers that came on my 400F were thick and heavy like dinner plates. Maybe they weren't even OEM. The Yamiya covers are somewhere in the middle.

I have ordered several times from Yamiya.  Many $$$$$...
Always good, perfecly packed and quick shipping.
My Blue avatar bike got tank and side covers from Yamiya.
Some parts are much cheaper here while other parts can cost much more than David Silver, Cmsnl and others.
Do not miss warning decals and maybe charging regulator decals.

Order s complete set, tank and side covers. The Honda badges might cost less elsewhere. Check the others. The tank trim cost way too much at Yamiya.

I put a lot of Yamiya stuff on my K3 750. Top notch company, very easy to work with, great quality.

My K2 build got a refurbished swingarm.  Powder coated. I replaced the shock bushings an installed bearings.

The swingarm I had was found to have a dent where bearing should go in. Checked Yamiya and got a good one less than a week later.
If I should have found an old one on eBay and left it for paint locally, not much less $ wise
