Rules of the road
« on: March 27, 2019, 04:31:42 PM »
So, I was asked to help with this section, and to moderate it. There have been lots of folks over the years who have desired to use MotoGadget products, and wanted or needed some help. Instead of littering many different threads, the Forum deities thought this might help.

If you have a relevant question about installation, configuration, compatibility, or just plain need a shoulder to cry on, post it. If you’re here to be snarky, pontificate about whether these products are necessary or unnecessary, your post will be deleted and you will be asked to leave. Perhaps, not even politely. So don’t bother, there are ample other threads deserving of your expertise.

I’m happy to help where I can and how I can. There are other members who also have good experience and successes that will post their solutions and projects to help you along.

Welcome, and good riding

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

Hello just want to start by saying thanks for starting this thread. As I'm in the process of installing the M-unit Blue on a 82 CB650SC. My biggest mystery right now is wiring the CDI and REG/REC The closest diagram i can find for this is on revival cycle website. But its still pretty generic. Any tips or help to concur the ignition system would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Reg/Rec isn’t involved with the CDI. You only need to connect a wire from the CDI to the gauge for tach signal input.

Use the M Unit subforum to start a thread for more info.

Cal, the inclusion of "electronics" in the title of this board is causing confusion, with non-MotoGadget related questions. Perhaps the Forum deities could change the title to MotoGadget products, although this would be the first time a specific manufacturer has ever been granted their own board. ;)

Wasn’t my doing, and I’m perfectly good with it.
