Rear Brake Light
« on: March 27, 2019, 10:15:42 AM »
Hi Cal  ;D

Quick question, with a 3 wire (ground, running, brake on) rear brake light, is the M-unit smart enough to know to turn on the rear running light when the headlight is on?  Or do i need to run the headlight wire to the running wire in the light?  I guess i could also run it to the aux out, so that when the bike is on it is on...

Ps- First!

Easier still is to use the 1-wire configuration where you run either BRAKE or TAIL wire from the BRAKE output. The MU will toggle the function of the bulb when the brake is pressed/pulled, while keeping the TAIL always on.

It’s in the SETUP section of the manual  ;)

Or, you can run TAIL from AUX.

Thanks Cal.  I read that thing over a year ago and I guess I didn't retain much.   Time pull it back out and blow the dust off again ..... :-X
