 They can with a bit of work.
 May have to eliminate crossover, then 2  petcocks  may be a good idea, but involves  welding bungs, adds up fast
I have seen guys make them work, makes motor look bigger.

 I don't know. I didn't mention the pic to them but if someone is serious the contact info is in the picture. Zoom in and look close. Years ago they bought out the local Honda shop when it closed. They've been in business for a long time, when built the new building these parts were left in the old building. Monday morning they had 3 cb750 sohc's, a 75 gl1000, a Valkyre and misc. four wheelers in the shop.

 My old junky drag bike frame was raked and it moved the tank mount back, that 450 tank would be a good way to allow for the lost inch between the mounts.
